their website says it goes through first review within 7 days of being complete but who knows how true that actually is

11:42
i see. thanks sm!
ClassyPleasantHeron
11:48
@ThickYellowPickle: It's probably true enough. Their undergraduate admissions only assigns applications once a week, so an application completed on a Monday isn't even assigned to a reader until the next Monday. The law school gets fewer applications, so maybe they get to them quicker?
people who got decisions today when did y'all apply
17:08
Dean Z please let me in 😫
ThickYellowPickle

"Bottom-line, making these decisions is complicated, and we can’t always make them quickly. We appreciate your patience as we do our best." https://michigan.law.umich.edu/admissions-a2z-blog/chill-lemur-speaks
Indeed, Classy Heron, indeed.

13:29
Was there an R wave already today?
not really seeing many Rs
ClassyPleasantHeron
14:10
@FriendlyEarsplittingPanda: I don't think so? I see UMich in the Recent Decisions listing too, but I think those are just users checking in today. For example, Unarmed Didactic Peacock is on the list today, but lists the decision as last week.
ThickYellowPickle
14:31
theres two listed for today?
14:41
It's probably a delay. Last friday was a blood bath
ThickYellowPickle
14:53
Are we thinking next wave is As on wednesday?

Looks like one (legit) A so far this week. Maybe the ASW isn't slowing them down after all.
ThickYellowPickle
11:22

ThickYellowPickle
18:36
