I don't think any schools is still on a normal decision schedule for their Fall applicants. Schools with summer and spring starts, maybe, but for fall? Nah. Those A/W/R decisions are largely done.

Speaking of waitlist movement: schools that participate are getting their first overlap reports from LSAC this week, so they'll have a better idea of how many of their commits are also committed elsewhere, which in turn will help them adjust their melt predictions.

The overlap report doesn't include names anymore. It was an antitrust issue.

My source for this is an aside from Spivey to the effect that schools "send an email to their double depositers telling them to make up their minds" (would require names). I take most Spivey advice with a grain of salt, but this in particular is a very concrete thing schools either can or can't do and he would have encountered it in his job

...that said, when it still included the names of the other schools, an adcomm could probably figure out who was deposited at the other school based on their application.

Spivey has not been an adcomm in many, many years. I'm sure the report back in his day had student names, just as I'm sure the report now does not.

@bashandtheosmom: No one expects you to stay on waitlists with no backup, you just can't hold spots at two schools you've already been admitted to when schools need to offer one of those spots to someone who will attend
