@DragonUltraSpy: I’ve heard of someone transferring to H from Penn but the problem is coming in at the top of your class at schools that competitive
14:59
Baylor? Hello? Where you at???

HYS will be happy to poach someone at the top of their class at a T6, but the overlap of "doing well enough at CCN to transfer to HYS" and "would be better off at HYS where top students have a 1-year head start building relationships than at CCN where they're a rock star" is pretty small
14:59
I CANNOT SLEEP, I CANNOT DREAM TONIGHTTTTTT
15:00
if u transfer from CCN to HYS ur a dumbass
being a dumbass is my specialty how do u think i got this far lol
15:00
hahahahaha

15:00
But i want HYS on my degree

15:01
is penn wave over?
15:01
sorry dragon i didnt realize this was an anecdotal respone from JB LOL
15:01
i didnt mean to call u a dumbass
InshAllah
15:01
@HorseyMed: why would someone be a dumbass? Genuinely curious lol
LOL its ok
15:01
but yes not a good move to transfer when youd undoubtedly have better outcomes than median students at HYS with the grades to transfer. it would be foolish in every regard
15:01
do y'all think a good lawyer is one who mediates best or one who wins the argument and causes immense hostility
15:02
"it depends"
15:02
rip no cls
15:02
guess now we wait until 3:30

Median transfer to Yale had a 3.97 at their current law school, so the question is "what doors are opened for you by rolling the dice on class rank at HYS that aren't available with a 3.97 at Chicago/Columbia/NYU?"
jb2028
15:03
If someone has a 3.97 at USC or wherever, sure
@JalebiBaby: depends on context of what they're trying to get done
if we start seeing like jan and feb apps get cls As today i might move off the grid and stop checking the internet until my deposits r due
transactional work you want a good mediator 100%. you don't want some dick who no one wants to work with again

(Assuming unicorn goals)
15:04
like it would be so dumb which is why most t13 students who have the grades never show up on the 509s
15:04
that's what i was thinking too @Mountaineer
15:04
its primarily t20+ schools, students who were top handful of the class
i saw someone on reddit a few years ago someone transfer from HLS to Yale once and i thought that was pretty funny lol
