@ClassyPleasantHeron: there isn’t a single recorded instance where an HLS feeler didn’t lead to an A (assuming an expressed desire to commit). Furthermore, a feeler not being a guaranteed A doesn’t necessarily imply that they would only do an A call; that’s just not HLS’ policy. The purpose of the feeler is make sure an offer is for certain to lead to a commitment. Unlike an interview, there’s nothing qualitative about a feeler call that would make them reconsider a candidate (aside from not expressing interest), so it really is pointless for them to do feelers for people they are on the fence about admitting.
So do we think they are done doing feelers?
Since it seems they called at least 20 people this week
Could they really have more than 20 spots left?

@DimensionJumper: Fair enough. Good luck! 🤞
Slack size: 593 (total) - 69 (current students and admission staff)= 524 accepted applicants.

Feelers required for A off WL? Or no? WL Email said offers of admission for a small number of candidates today (nothing about feelers)
(I couldn't have been clearer I would go so that's why I'm wondering)
