Help us make LSD better!
Tell us what's important to you
but is there a higher KJ1 conversion rate earlier in the cycle?
15:13
i would say that unless you are a super splitter or someone for whom HLS is a definite reach, the interview is just a formality, assuming youre a communicable human who has answers to obvious questions
15:15
i would be willing to bet pretty strongly that if you broke down the KJ1 conversion rate into reach applicants (splitters, people with eh softs, and people who might have a couple distinguishing things that made their app stand out) and meet applicants (people who reddit would clown for even doubting their HLS admission chance), the latter would be around high 80s% and the former would be much lower
18:35
Have many people who applied in Dec got kj1?
20:05
no kj1 for me yet
I got a KJ1 but am a very slight splitter (gpa is like right below median) so hopefully it works out!
23:08
Have many people who applied in Dec gotten rejected already?
DivergentDryPug
14:58
do super splitters ever get into harvard?
looking at the LSD statistics for HLS, it looks like some who applied in Dec got R already, with a few having been invited to KJ1
XLAloofPirate
11:16
i applied a few days before Christmas and got a kj1 the wave before the last one
15:38
what are your stats?
15:38
@XLAloofPirate:
15:15
any news today?
Does anyone have any insight into the KJ1 interview and would feel generous enough to give any tips/info.

Are any KJ1s expected today?
JustASnail
12:39
@PBnJ: people in general chat think no. We'll see though
15:33
please reject me already so i can move on
how long did u all wait between complete + kj1?
TabooIrateClam
12:07
6 weeks ish (but with break)
XLAloofPirate
12:33
about 3 (applied right before christmas tho)
13:59
Waves still ongoing for Penn and SLS?
do ppl think harvard interview conversion will be higher this year, since less ppl interviewed?
GratefulExultantBluebird
15:53
is there a graph of when people applied vs if they have heard back from schools or not
GratefulExultantBluebird
15:54
whoops meant to send in main
TabooIrateClam
16:16
Also does HLS send a thank you email after the KJ1
TabooIrateClam
16:16
my neuroticism lol
I did not get one @taboolrateclam
TabooIrateClam
17:54
ok thanks -- I saw people on reddit getting one

I'm like is that indicative of chances, but that feels like my misplaced neuroses talking rather than reason.
