Last question is Diversity Statements. How big of a deal are they? I'm URM, but I have a big part of what diversity essays ask for in my PS. Do i need to write a separate one?

if you address it in your ps, probably not necessary unless you can say it in a new unique way. wouldn't hurt trying to come up with another way, but don't force it

Keep in mind that the urm boost for black people is generally stronger than for hispanics, cast a wide net. but im sure you will do great, you seem very motivated
