Does anyone know what UF stipends look like? Going into a scholarship interview soon and want to have a good idea what the stakes are
DonkeyKongEsquire
18:05
Idk I got full tuition + 6k annually
KnowledgeableRitzyWasp
18:09
Okay, I had heard that's what UF offers but someone also told me that they increased possible stipend amounts from that this year
KnowledgeableRitzyWasp
18:09
And also had conditional stipends as well
DonkeyKongEsquire
18:20
Yeah check out the UF page and sort the list by scholarships

Hard to tell exactly what people mean with what they put, but it looks like there's a summer PI stipend, a higher yearly stipend, and maybe a one time stipend? Idk
KnowledgeableRitzyWasp
18:22
Thanks so much :))))) I'm checking that out

looks like the highest you can get is 8k stipend
[] KnowledgeableRitzyWasp

actually one guy with instate got 101.5. I think IS tuition is 22 a year. So 101.5-66= 35. 35 over 3 years is just over 11k a year. That's kind of nutty
i wish temple gave stipends
stipends are S tier

Take full 20k loans and each year with a huge stipend and a full ride and you can live comfy. But paying it back would be big sad
yeah 60k repayment just for living expenses is big sad
Is Fordham worth it at 45k scholarship if only somewhat interested in BigLaw?
no... only 41.5% of graduates even get big law... so you may come out with huge tuition/COL debt and not even get a BL job
@CumbersomeCaringMoose: using Law School Trasnsparency's budget planner and the COA from LSD... you would be $210k in debt at graduation with a 45k per year scholly... I do not think id want to put myself in that position with only 41.5% landing a 501+ firm (also imoportant to remember some 501+ firms are insurance defense aka not BL salary)
