Help us make LSD better!
Tell us what's important to you
I bet stanford would be higher if they didn't piss people off with their slow process
14:10
@pug: Yale and HLS, Stanford yield was high 40s when I last checked (agreed the timing is probably a factor there)
yeah i agree i think by the time hella people get the A its so late and they made plans
it's not even a matter of pissing people off some people just can't afford to make a decision and start preparing for school that late
amlaw
14:11
did anyone just get that email from uf
ConcernedSmilingEmu
14:12
@amlaw: what did it say
pug
14:12
YES LOL i was like pls bros. you cannot send that email on april 18th
RIGHT
Ijustwannagetinman
14:12
@jb2028: ik I just meant like it’s kinda early for that to have already been updated to that point on lsd
amlaw
14:12
it was like "our class is shaping up wonderfully but we still have seats"
Ijustwannagetinman
14:12
Like people withdrawing. So current yield is far below that and they gonna need at least a few from WL as per usual
BensonSprintswads
14:13
I think CLS scholarship offers are starting to trickle in for those waiting
BensonSprintswads
14:13
got mine today
Ijustwannagetinman
14:13
Which schools do you think genuinely are the most holistic in their review and acceptances? Stanford and duke seem like they are
14:13
@Ijustwannagetinman: UCLA's first deposit deadline was 4/15, I assume that accounts for the high share of people who've either committed or withdrawn
amlaw
14:13
i'm like if that seat wasn't in florida i'd apply lol
StaleHarshMayfly
14:13
are these NU results from today or yesterday?
BensonSprintswads
14:14
SLS, Duke, NU, UVA, Penn i feel like are holistic
BensonSprintswads
14:14
and Yale too but since they're top top they can still have insane medians
FUCK DUKE
Ijustwannagetinman
14:14
@jb2028: I think most people don’t update their lsd account when they withdraw is what I mean
Ijustwannagetinman
14:15
Like if I had already accepted my top choice schoo i
Ijustwannagetinman
14:15
I wouldn’t be on lsd😭😭😭😭
i dont think NU is holistic. they love stats. some of the worst essays and cycles ive seen have gotten into nu just cuz of stats/lsat in particular
Ijustwannagetinman
14:16
I think NU or penn are that holistic
Ijustwannagetinman
14:16
Or ucla
Ijustwannagetinman
14:16
USC seems schizophrenic
14:17
@Ijustwannagetinman: Re: "I wouldn't be on LSD" I feel called out but you're not wrong
14:18
@jb2028: it’s hard to kick the LSD habit
Ijustwannagetinman
14:18
hahahahahah
