Also this is not at all unique to A&M. Tons of schools are doing this.
Lastly, yeah SMU has better employment right now but they probably won’t in the future. They also lag behind in non-big law opportunities. And again, they also cost a ridiculous amount and don’t give a lot of money. Not trying to dick ride A&M but I mean I’m going to applaud the 32k/yr school over the 62k/yr school any day, especially since within the next few years the employment opportunities will be similar

Going from 190 to 130 doesn’t make sense for class size. And TAMU is very obviously median hunting, which is fine. You are so defensive about Tamu when literally everybody here applied. You are missing the entire point which is that we were all annoyed with the admissions process.
You can be annoyed with the process that’s fine, but at this point you should honestly be criticizing the ABA more than just A&M. Also, I just explained a reason why going from 190 to 130 may actually be more beneficial for them at this time. I don’t think you understand that most schools are downsizing. Vandy is around 150. The 3L class at UT is 430. The 1L class is 260. Schools are downsizing for various reasons, but in A&M’s case it’s a mix of median hunting but also quality control. They have always intended to be a smaller school, especially right now. It allows them to devote more resources per student and have a selling point that differentiates from larger Texas schools
I suppose it’s just frustrating to read “they’re small just because they’re median hunting” when there’s evidence to suggest that there are other reasons as well.

I'm just confused, you can't say TAMU isn't a median hunting school? Their holistic review is holistically reviewing your gpa and lsat to make sure you are part of the 90 degree angle on the admit graph
BronzeSample
9:18
also, not sure why you are defending them about median hunting. nobody said it is a bad thing lmao.
BronzeSample
9:20
either way, your mother would scold you for crapping on the other guys for not getting in
is jeff green in the room with us now?
@BronzeSample: I mean I’m sure your mother would scold you for harassing other people so
@ProductiveRedundantCoral: there’s a reason you weren’t admitted, I’m sorry and wish the best for you but also you’re a) not entitled to admission and b) seem kind of like a dick
They also have a history of WL movement (not documented here), if you do well on the video interview and continue to show interest there’s a great chance you’ll get an offer. Good luck

LMAO I'm harassing you??

that's crazy

I literally just said their process is ass and that I disagree with you on whether or not they are median hunting, which I said (multiple times) isn't a bad thing and that I think TAMU is a great school.
