Do we think now they'll start looking back at holds and deferred applicants from early on?

if i applied in Oct and didn't get a hold, is it safe to say I'm not an A?

They take the strongest stat apps first and circle back after. They don’t go in order of when you send your app in, so don’t worry unless you have to!

Good to know! My stats are right on par for NYU medians so my fingers are more than crossed!

HolisticScientificRaven
21:51
Any predictions for when NYU's first WL wave will be?
@HolisticScientificRaven: at the end of the cycle.
Immaterialcobweb

NYU theory : they batch by date UR. some UR dates dont have decisions while some before/ after them. my guess is that theyre batched by date and reader
I am slight NYU splitter but I know someone w same LSAT that was a much more extreme splitter than me and didnt hear back from NYU until April but got in! for anyone worried
he didnt hear anything untul his A
Is NYU done for the day, or are there more A's coming?
Looking at past years, looks like about 3% of people NYU holds get As.. so basically a slightly better waitlist? But still practically an R lol
Immaterialcobweb
16:14
@bullfrogbully: omg thats amazing
@SafeMarriedHammerhead: oof, we don't love to hear it
18:32
@safemarriedhammerhead Wait seriously? That feels weird. Like why not just R or WL us
