I applied in September and I finally got accepted to my top law school and committed

19:35
Feelin goooood
19:35
Or do i need to look now like what the fuck
i mean how far are you from miami? how hard is it to get there?
im not looking til like mid june prob
19:35
@CallHerDaddy: i'd personally say yes, esp if you'll be relying on financial aid for rent payments and/or living expenses. finaid doesnt disburse until about 10 days before the 1st day of class, so you don't want to move *too* early
19:36
Im from Georgia so not awful
but im like paying attention to housing in the area
19:36
i'm doing the same thing for gulc haha. i'm riding out the wl as long as i can, but i'm not too optimistic about it
19:37
Like i will but the funny thing is they havent released financial aid shit
dc has a lot of temporary housing though. ilke worst case you would pay out the ass for a semester of housing through an intern housing network and move into your big kid apartment in the winter
19:37
yeah fafsa stuff usually doesnt get released until july, but it might be l8 this year bc of all the delays
19:38
@manifestT14acceptances: i live in tx, but i'm from the dc area, so i'm familiar w/ it
19:38
I wasn’t planning on expecting financial aid shit tbh but like FUCK like im so overwhelmed
ah i see i just meant im not sure if it would be the same if daddy got off the vandy wl
19:38
but if i go to usc, i am not signing a short term lease. i can't deal w/ a unexpected rent increase at least renewal. plus i h8 moving lol
19:40
@CallHerDaddy: i'm not expecting much financial aid either. i'll be like 250k in debt when i graduate AND i'm going into public interest
19:42
This is so insane vandy said most decisions will be released May-june w a couple in July and August like waiting till august? Like how would i even get an apartment that quick and what would i do about Umiami when classes start LMAO
KnowledgeableRitzyWasp
19:42
U Miami is a solid school they send like 20% of their class to Miami big law, that’s like the same stats as UF which is ranked in the 20s
19:44
But vandy is 100000000 times better
19:46
Like so i should just suck it up and go to Umiami :(
im only saying this because i myself didnt know it was a thing but have you done the video interview for WL applicants
KnowledgeableRitzyWasp
19:48
Vandy is only marginally better if you practice in florida
19:48
No i havent i dont want to fuck it up and then its worse
KnowledgeableRitzyWasp
19:49
Regional schools are really strong in Florida because the markets are insular
19:49
But like vandy for practicing in Nashville??
KnowledgeableRitzyWasp
19:50
Yeah then vandy is better by a lot lol
pug
19:51
