^^ also wondering this! and are the questions similar to the 7sage ones from previous years?

Do we think more Harvard interviews are coming today, or was yesterday it?
I had mine with KJ today! I got my II last Wednesday
The vibes were very good and she was very kind! Definitely more of a "they already have the questions they want to ask you prepped" vibe for me but I found using the 7sage interview questions from previous years to prep helpful
I just had bullet points and then took the 7sage questions and thought of similar questions/slight variations to the question and made sure my bullet points could be used in all the variants to fit the question
and I felt like I practiced some version of a question asked
so if that makes sense I hope its helpful to anyone

@SadCurlyGirly: congrats on the II and hope you did well! I had KJ too; did it feel conversational to you? In my interview she was really nice but it definitely felt like there wasn't too much of a back and forth and she wanted to touch on her questions; I second what you said about it definitely felt like she came with questions prepped!
I felt the exact same way but I didn't have KJ, if that means anything--it was very very question-answer
is there II wave today

@VirtuousWheat11: glad to hear it! Hope your interview went well!
Thanks! Me too

for the people who are doing hls interviews soon, when did you all apply? (ps congrats!)

in my experience it was v question-answer too, which kinda worries me cuz my interviewer didnt seem particularly excited by any of my responses :/

@quackity-quack: right?? They were nice but not having back and forth worries me

@quackity-quack: I'm sure you did great though! Best of luck <3
@quackity-quack: I wouldn't worry! seems like everyone had that experience :)

@LinedSand11: opening app weekend for me. Interview this week with Dean Jobson. She was real nice, but I felt insecure a bit about how deep and slow my voice was and whether that made me sound like a weirdo haha. Only one or two questions that kinda surprised me, specifically about my job. She was really interested in learning more anecdotes, which kinda worries me if maybe the ones I gave her weren’t compelling. Idk, guess we’ll see in January haha
@SquidwardsHouse: It's so funny because I think we're all trying to find reasons we did badly! I feel the exact opposite way--I wish she had asked me for more anecdotes, because I feel like not asking means mine were less compelling. It's all in the eye of the beholder though and I'm sure you did great
12:41
@VirtuousWheat11: appreciate that haha. I think it’s natural to feel nervous about it. It is literally Harvard Law School. I would hope no one would feel arrogant and cocky about their performance.
13:34
I mean it shouldn’t have to be said…but none of us are entitled to a spot there
13:34
Sorry I was driving
Did anyone else have sam parker for their HLS interview? I really liked her, and I felt she gave me some positive feedback throughout, which was a lot more than I was expecting!
19:39
y'all are getting interviews? lol
Hey, I see lots of people get dinged despite having totally serviceable stats, and others getting into places despite having middling GPAs. How do you account for stuff like that?
Like, is there a pattern?

I think that for these top schools, it's hard, if not impossible, to know what accounts for one person getting in over another if you're trying to figure it out based on stats alone. I believe that the quality of the written samples matters, and that's so easily overlooked here because we literally cannot look at what everyone wrote! But the admissions office can. As frustrating as the term "holistic review" can be, I believe there's truth to it.
@AnxiouslyAging: so for splitters, I’ve noticed veterans with strong LSATs have been having an extremely good cycle. Almost across the board. Based on a veteran applicant chat I’m in. I do think schools value a lot of different perspectives for sure, and might overlook a GPA that’s far under median. Especially if they’re years removed from undergrad. Admissions officers are human, they know people get more mature with time (generally)
Harvard in particular is known for their veteran recruiting
