synonymous... are you debt averse? Most of these schools seem a big reach for your stats. If admitted, expect to pay sticker based on my experience last cycle.

synonymous: put your stats in at lsatdemon.com/scholarships for hard data on costs of these schools if that's a factor...
I'm not concerned about debt. I feel as though Maryland to Oregon will be all low possibility for me but would be fantastic if I got in. American and lower are my safer schools

I had a 163 LSAT last cycle and now I have a 174 because I did not want $250K+ in debt. If you can afford it, go for it!
That's an amazing website. Thank you for that and congrats on 174!
I think so too. I know some of those will be a major reach but I am hoping maybe one of them accidentally stamps an approved on it
14:16
did you apply ED to any of the schools?
No I am currently waiting on one LOR that I am getting tomorrow then applying to everything probably EA
hastings is my 1 and they don't do ED

Is the gw status checker down for anyone else?
WarlikeYellowShepherd
14:28
nope
BajaBlastFreeze13
14:29
Oh man. Whenever I try to log in the screen is just completely blank! And it’s not like that for my other status checkers either rip
WarlikeYellowShepherd
14:32
odd, is it working when you check it here?
14:32
@SynonymousLettuce: i have pretty similar stats but i'm going for some scholarships in applications. If i get accepted any of my reach schools i would 100% pay sticker tho
14:33
i applied pretty broadly tho, i'm taking the oct lsat and hoping to bump my score to apply to some more t50 schools with scholarship potential
14:34
its hard to weigh job potential at a schoool i may pay sticker vs one in the 100 rank area that may have poor job potential, essentially i'm seeing it as a full ride scholarship is worth a $25k pay scale difference for the first 8ish years after graduation
14:35
since thats about what it will cost to pay off the loans
@BajaBlastFreeze13: did you submit the GW identity statement? I'm curious how important it is and how it's different from last year. Last year I submitted the optional statement but it wasn't written exactly like this years so I'm curious if this is just a traditional diversity?
*statement
@Fifty2eighty: I am also targeting schools with good IP programs and riding my STEM major/minor pretty hard to hopefully give me an edge at those schools
15:03
has anyone applied to texas a&m
15:03
is there any additional essays
15:03
are there
15:04
@Sunshinesonadreamer: i did i wrote about my identity
Thank you Mac! And I applied to A&M and there were no add. essays :)
15:10
perf
@SynonymousLettuce: Oregon doesn't seem like a major reach. I know someone with same LSAT and 3.05 gpa who was accepted directly. Your LSAT score is good and you can do a gpa addendum if you feel like explaining it.
16:08
does anyone think i can get into uc hasitings with a 150 and 3.7
17:11
Anyone know anything about IUPUI Law school?
17:28
@Coconuts: You should really retake with a 150. If nothing else, it'll be to get more scholarship consideration.
