Hi guys, I was browsing reddit (so take this with a grain of salt) but someone posted this "I went to tour USC on Wednesday. Asked an admissions ambassador if they are near the end of the cycle. She said not at all. Their class is only about 60 rn. She said admissions is just waiting til the last second unfortunately because they don’t want to be over enrolled this year." If this is true, maybe there is hope for the rest of us that are still waiting

Thanks for sharing. Does anyone know when usc’s first deposit deadline is?
UppityPreviousHatchling
19:13
Never mind - it’s may 1. I wonder if “last second” means after may 1 or after for example ucla’s April 14 deposit deadline

A lot is probably tied to UCLAs deadline, whose admitted students might be waiting to hear back from Stanford, who is having the slowest cycle maybe ever lol. Really bad ripple effect.
ugh please soon

Another interesting thought: Spivey just released their “assessed” USNews 2024 Law school rankings and has USC at median of 16th, which is obviously higher than their current ranking. Wouldn’t be surprised that they are waiting to get rankings back on April 18th to see if they need to reduce their class size in order to meet certain median requirements.

Obviously that’s just unsubstantiated conjecture on my part but could be another reason.

Wouldn't be the craziest thing if they are waiting for ranking metrics to tailor their incoming class to it a little bit
after being on complete since december im finally in review LOL
