admits?

I'm new to all this and would love some advice. I took the lsat in feb and got 166, had covid and PT'Swere all above 170 so I was really disappointed. I have a low gpa, should I try to apply after the April LSAT if I'm confident I will break 170 or just try my best now? I have a low gpa 3.05
@ZachWilsonIsGood: They may be trying to determine if you got an accommodation for the later exam, which is sneaky on their part. I don't know who in their right mind would volunteer that info but maybe some do
The reimbursement process for the ASU visit has been a nightmare
when is the seat deposit deadline?
Apr.1
I just got sent an email with a survey asking if I still want to be on the waitlist. Then my application went back under review an hour later. Did this happen to anyone else?
Got taken off the waitlist, am genuinely shocked
15:19
Has anyone else received an email from then Director of Admissions to go over your JDAS application?
@SomberChunkySheep: Was there anything that notified you prior that you were being reviewed to be taken off? Also when were you placed on the waitlist?
taken off as in A or R?
17:55
Just got my A from the WL!!
@Sharkiana223: Congrats! Did you send a LOCI or take another LSAT?
@Mountainous2575: I was on the waitlist & they did notify me that morning that they were going to look at my waitlist soon.
23:30
I was accepted off the waitlist today; hoping you hear something soon.
i got off the waitlist today as well!
Congratulations!!
Got accepted off of the waitlist after they sent me a survey asking if I was still interested!
Congratulations!!
How long were you on the waitlist before they sent you that?
Since December!
19:20
Same here, I was waitlisted in December. I didn't get an interest survey, but I did send a LOCI every month.
12:52
Also was waitlisted in December, submitted two LOCI so hopefully I hear back soon
22:27
I withdrew today, best of luck!
They are still waitlisting people as of may 10th??? Looks like I may have a shot with the June LSAT
20:26
@MereMushyDuck: you won’t get results from the June LSAT until right before the application deadline is over and classes start. You’re probably better off taking June and applying for the 2025 cycle
@Applicant70: tbh I live in AZ, so if I get in last minute, I'm fine with it.
18:33
Good luck!
Does ASU take a lot from the waitlist?
Not sure but I would guess they have some sort of system where they directly compare admissions numbers to previous cycles and see if they are above or below attendance numbers. Then probably evaluate every few weeks and if they're below, they take off waitlist. But that's just a guess lol
