okay that makes sense, so you can probably get all your goals with your current enrolled school
KnowledgeableRitzyWasp
21:41
unless you decide on a specific goal that absolutely needs transfer

21:43
yeah i think so its kinda hard to tell sometimes just because i like, dont have a lot of people in my life who went to law school/practice law and those who did are like "went to NYU" or "was a lawyer in the ~old country~ and goes to a local school just because they need a US JD" and like both of those are people who provide valuable lessons it's just also hard to tell what actually aligns with my goals

21:43
(goals being world domination)
KnowledgeableRitzyWasp
21:45
excellent a manifest run world order would be peak
KnowledgeableRitzyWasp

21:48
oh fun group question if you could do ~any gig or job in the whole wide world~ and not worry about going broke what would you pick
manifestmoreadmissions
21:49
just vibing at home counts as a possible response
KnowledgeableRitzyWasp
21:50
i’d do online fitness/wellness coaching
KnowledgeableRitzyWasp
21:51
get people workout programs to get their ideal body and refer them to a therapist so they have like basic emotional self awareness
KnowledgeableRitzyWasp
21:52
the meme men would rather go on a crusade instead of go to therapy is real
KnowledgeableRitzyWasp
21:52

i think one day if i ever have work life balance i'll coach youth soccer
manifestmoreadmissions
21:54
i also think i would probably do some type of youth activity if i can find the time to volunteer
KnowledgeableRitzyWasp
21:54
we have poetry, soccer, and fitness/wellness. we’re not beating the liberal arts allegations

no we are not 😭
23:05
this is a dumb question but does going to a school for undergrad heighten your chances of law school ?
23:34
@Error0305: Might be a slight boost (the law school will be very familiar with transcripts from the college, and probably a *little* kinder to them than other schools) but you'll also be one of a *lot* of applicants so it can cut both ways.
23:37
makes sense lol, I (un)fortunately went to the Ivy with the least grade inflation so that sounds like a perk somewhat
23:37
Most law schools have a healthy # of (University) undergrads because they get a lot of applicants from same
23:38
@Error0305: Yeah Cornell Law is the #1 destination for Cornell undergrads
23:39
interesting! Idk why I thought it'd lowkey count against me.tysm
