“Pretty much” isn’t “completely” though. As someone mentioned earlier, a few folks will withdraw even after depositing bc they got off a WL somewhere else.
I just got in. I wouldn’t put a grain of salt into what the admissions people say. They say different things to different people and everything is couched in language that gives them wiggle room
