@FrequentLearnedGoose: What did yours change to compared to what I am assuming is UR1, "in review"
it just updated to the top of my list again like it had been viewed
@TangibleSatisfyingGnome: ^^^

14:39
Ohh do you have the status checker?
@TangibleSatisfyingGnome: yes!
Just got my A call!
Hey! I applied to Charleston and I'm out of state, does anyone have thoughts about the school
I'm in the 75th percentile
Yeah I would avoid it at all costs
It's a regional school and has an awful reputation in the region. Have been working in and around attorneys for 5 years and Charleston SOL is an instant deny to just about any job worth its salt. They've lost their accreditation several times
They keep attempting new measures to fix their reputation. They are long past fixing it IMO

Why did you apply then, if all you heard was negatives?
Their employment rate went up
I got in yesterday
just curious since I'm not from the state
has anyone graphed transfer in and out rates with enrollment to see if underpreforming schools are masking drop outs who left after 1sst notice of academic dismissal
15:09
I applied 03/22/2024. In review and complete 04/19/2024. 04/29/2024 In review again.
15:12
I am so nervous I am a prior dismissed law student and I took JD Next to supplement my application.
16:21
charleston is full

@cclaw: how do you know??
14:44
i got a call from admissions yesterday and they said it would've been an acceptance call except they have no seats left
14:45
they still have their waitlist active though in case people withdraw
14:46
people will likely drop, if charleston is your top choice i would give them a call and say you are still heavily interested
14:49
So stressful I submitted my application since 03/22/2024
14:50
I still have not received a response.

16:39
oh okay im already on the waitlist, just wasn't sure if you had heard anything new

16:40
they said you can expect a WL decision closer to June 1st
15:33
@cclaw did you receive an email or did the status checker state your application was on hold?
