@PeterK123: I am thinking the same thing about status checkers lol
PeterK123
15:43
literally
15:43
I think received is that the school has literally received an application from LSAC, complete is the school going through and making sure you filled out every question and certain supplements i.e. if you marked a C&F issue but didn't fill out an addendum explaining why you would be received but incomplete.
15:43
(I am just another applicant and dont really know though)
@LushBison: i am still on 11/21. If we are talking texas A&M
PeterK123
15:45
realistically, how often do you guys check status checkers per day per school?
PeterK123
15:45
more than 5?
once twice or not at all personally
Like once a day for the ones I know could update
depends on if there is movement noted by other people
PeterK123
15:46
fair enough
haven't checked Columbias in a month, for instance
yeah agree with randomized
15:46
@ProductiveRedundantCoral: I'm on 11/7 in review but the status checker look different & my header says "thank you for your continued interest..." lmao not sure if thats good or bad
@Thersh: that's what I thought as well so was just trying to pinpoint when exactly my app went complete date-wise for some of these apps lol
@LushBison: weird, i dont have that
combativecitygirl

@ararara: you're really like the mom (ungendered) of this site!! thanks for all your kind words and persistently positive energy :)
PeterK123
15:50
in your guys opinions, when it comes to schools ranked like 40-60, is there any difference between a school ranked 45 and 55?
celestialskies
15:50
i just joined this website yesterday but i am rooting for all of you
PeterK123
15:51
like lets say youd rather live in the state of the 55th ranked school but the other school is ranked better
combativecitygirl
15:51
also - i check prob 5-10 times a day, but i'm a fidgety person and it's more out of impulse than anything else. i just swapped out my rubiks cube with my status checker spreadsheet
Go with the state youd rather live in for sure
15:51
^
PeterK123
15:51
so at what ranking separation would there actually be a difference?
I think the thinking lsat's podcast's rule of ranking doens't matter unless it's double is pretty true
15:51
Also depends on where you wanna practice after law school
combativecitygirl
15:51
yeah agreed, i feel like it only makes a difference within top 30? if i had to throw a number up there
celestialskies
15:52
@PeterK123: t-6 wtih t-14, t-14 with t-20/30 i think
PeterK123
15:52
because like for example im thinking of applying to indiana which is 45 but i already got into fsu which is like 56 and id rather live in fl than indiana
PeterK123
15:52
so im thinking if thats the case theres no reason to apply to indiana
