@Legallybeee1997 I really don't get it. I'm meeting with admissions next week to learn about the environmental program and (hopefully) waitlist success stories

@Legallyblack88: oh okay thats good! Keep me updated 😭 i just got done reading an article from spivey. He wrote a blog last month stating that a lot of schools depending on the waitlist this year. And schools who waitlisted a lot of people are more likely to admit them. I hope this is the case for marquette
I hope so too, its just that I graduate this weekend and I wish I had a solid plan :(
I just had my meeting and it sounds like there won't be much waitlist movement this year :(
15:39

I got my second email requesting I confirm I want to stay on the wait-list this morning. The first email I got like this was in April which I responded to. Hopefully this means something, though I have written off Marquette as a possibility. It would be a nice surprise to get in though lol
11:15
Same here
Legallybeee1997
12:01
@smallroundrabbit: right!
They said that they haven't pulled anyone off of the waitlist yet due to the large number of people that paid seat deposits
@smallroundrabbit: They told me it was a scheduled email unfortunately. They just don't want to make an offer to someone that no longer wants to go to Marquette
Sorry for being a downer lol
smallroundrabbit
18:45
Oh yeah, it's definitely automated. I just wanted to let everyone know that they are at least weeding out people who don't want to be candidates anymore

Legallybeee1997
20:19
@smallroundrabbit: i guess when they do that they can pull some (not a lot) off the waitlist
Legallybeee1997
