I kinda think its ridiculous to leave some of us hanging while they leave for spring break. we'll have 2 weeks to make a decision when they come back and that's IF they get back to us immediately after the break
11:22
i think they're probably done with As
HesitantSlowWhale
11:25
then reject us geez
12:19
I don't think they are done with A's quite yet. That said I'm sure there aren't many spots left at this point. Looking at last year, they had a small A wave in late march. Interestingly, I think that date coincides with the US news release date.
12:54
Honestly, it all depends on whether or not they want to shrink, maintain or increase their class size. Using this years data and last years data as a sample and comparing it with the 509's, and assuming they want to maintain the class size, then then they have about 20 seats to fill (I'm estimating that they have about 120-30 acceptances who will matriculate as of right now). Using their yield, implies that they have about 60 A's to hand out.
12:55
Of course this all largely depends on these rates being held equal, which is rather unlikely.

@WickedBoringDragonfly: nov 15. got waitlist update on march 10, but no email. i emailed them a week later to see what was up and haven't heard back
I called today. If you applied before March or February, you should hear something before April 1st. That's their seat deposit deadline.

@WickedImmenseAcolyte: i had a decision (WL) posted mar 10 and still havent gotten an email. have reached out twice w no response. super disappointed w how im being treated
anyone have info about the vibes at the law school? trying to make a decision
HesitantSlowWhale
14:02
i have 2 friends there in different sections and they are having completely different experiences so who knows
15:33
I applied in Jan and still nothing!
Just went UR...
i applied when it opened in September and am in Tuscaloosa. I met with Dean Arrington twice, the last time being late Feburary
I asked when I should cut my losses (3.7x, 162) and she heavily implied that if I don't hear back by the start of their spring break I should move on
again, this is for my situation. Seeing how they're letting out a few decisions every few days I'm assuming they're trying to run through their waitlist and give out A's. I fully expect there significantly more undesired results after spring break. good luck y'all
14:37
UR 2 now...
still nothing

Any updates on their waitlist? I was hoping to see some movement now that we've passed their seat deposit deadline.
