[IMPORTANT] These estimates are for high level planning only. Things like summer jobs, when you spend your savings, and other financial decisions will impact exactly how much you pay.
Your best bet, is to wait until the May 5th deadline to ask for more money, that's when people will withdraw, and money will be freed up to give to you,
Hey all, I am a current student at UNM SOL and was just reminiscing about the wild ride that was the law school application cycle. Having been here nearly a year, here are some thoughts. I love UNM! It has been fantastic so far and it is clear that attending essentially guarantees a good career in NM. There have been lots of opportunities to meet judges and attend legislative sessions in the capital. These opportunities likely wouldn't be available in similar ranked schools in other states. The cost of living is reasonable and the legal community is incredibly tight knit. On the other hand, there is little presence of out of state firms or opportunities. TLDR if you want a career in NM, UNM punches far above its weight ranking-wise, but that value might not be fungible.
