Sounds good. Win or lose we booze
Tomorrow as in today
I feel good about today but if not we will have a restful long weekend without having to refresh emails
I wish we could just ask lol
I’m not sure why we can’t. I get being worried about being annoying but irl it’s totally normal to check up on things this big. 🤷‍♂️😂
You wouldn’t just trust the bank to process your loan application, you’d call and check up
Ya you're right, I don't think they'd think it's rude but I think I'd be too nervous haha
If we hit the 8 week mark without a decision, I think it's fair to call/ask and say it was communicated we would hear in 6-8 weeks.
Hopefully it doesn't come to that haha
I think if there were acceptances going out I’d check in but with no movement at all, I’m assuming they’re just trying a new strategy
Idk how relevant this is but I have a coworker who went to UGA Law and she said that they are having some significant staff turnover this year because of UGA's increasingly strong reputation so she says that also might be a factor in this delay
take it with a grain of salt but thought I'd share with you all bc I thought it wsas interesting
14:17
I am gonna lose it lol its been a tease for three weeks
15:19
With all the changes from last cycle to this one, I am much less optimistic about my chances than I was coming into the cycle.
Are you referring to the timeline or is there broader changes you’re referring to?
15:24
The timeline for sure, and it makes sense with pheasant mentioning possible admin changes
15:24
increase in ranking maybe leading to a different direction in admissions
15:25
In general to get in anywhere as a 2.4, it takes a specific situation where a school really needs to hold onto their lsat median (or increase it), so any change that could disrupt that situation would be bad for me
15:27
I could just be spiraling because of the wait but I'm trying to prepare myself for not getting in
Ah gotcha. Still I think no news for everyone is good news or at least not a sign that they’re completely changing what they’ve done in previous years.
16:41
@BruceSutter , did you apply anywhere else?
16:50
@Manysko: Not yet. I will very soon. Problem is that it would be hard/inconvenient to move because of my fiancee's career
16:51
but I'll definitely apply to GSU very soon
Did anyone hear anything today?
17:03
Lets do some blood sacrifices tmwr to find out this next week
Bruce keep hope! Your LSAT score is amazing and you have been out of school for a while so even if UGA becomes super holistic, you've got a good shot
alright 5:30 here in GA. No more checking for today. See y'all Tuesday lol
My good feeling about today has transferred to Wednesday
17:55
Have a great long weekend everyone. I'll be drowning my stress in turkey and liquor. See yall tuesday
