Tell us what's important to you
@FlutteringSqueamishPuffin: Sounds like you definitely have some options! I took a peek - you have a lot of apps outstanding. I don't suppose you're in any super rush because of that, but the waiting would kill me!
You've also got schools all over the place geographically . . . do you have friends/family in any of the places? That might help, but also figuring out some clarity as far as what you truly want post-3L is probably going to be a big driver of your decision.
@TrueHistoricalGoddess: It was a mixture of places i would like to live, elite schools worth the cost, and places i expect LARGE $$$ offers. Theres only a few states i really want to live in, Florida, the carolinas, Texas and NH. Quality of life and taxes are better there. If i get into fsu or UF i am definitely going there, their reputation is great. I need to do a little more market research and figure out a 5 year plan post 3L and that will probably be the deciding factor on which school i go to
Keep me posted, and good luck!
thank you!!!
TrueHistoricalGoddess, or I guess anyone, when did you go UR2? I've been in review for 4 weeks now, eek!
13:20
Review periods are often 6-8 weeks
Has anyone negotiated their scholarship? How exactly do you go about doing that?
@HulkingAmusingUnicorn: I don't think I had an UR2. That's so frustrating!
@Meowmeow369: I did not try negotiating, as UNH is my first choice, and I was offered honestly more than I was expecting. Would love to hear how that works for people, though.
how long is it taking for people to get responses from UNH?
Did anyone’s date disappear from under review soon before receiving a decision? Mine did yesterday and I’m confused
@TrueHistoricalGoddess: how much did you get? im out of state and my scholarship would have me pay 18k per year. I got more from similarly ranked Dayton and Michigan State, i sent a negotiation on monday and said i will have a response within 2 weeks. Ill let you all know how it goes
@tiredoftheLSAT: my date disappeared a few weeks ago and I am still under review, if that helps! :)
Thanks!!
its been 7 days since i sent my letter, my confirmation was :should hear bakc within a week" should i ive it another 7 days before I follow up?
lopl andn they answwered
30k to now 34 k
unfortunately Michigan State raised it to 40k.. so its 12k TOTAL for law school there and 14k/year here., Tough choice. they have w renown IP{ program
i dont know what to do
That IS a tough choice. Are you able to visit any campuses?
i will visit NH next friday but i cant see michigan until april 4 and my scholarship here has a April 1 deadline to accept
If im not blown away with their IP program and job numbers i am going to take michigan. I think i would get a good job in the boston area but there is SO much competition. Theres like 4 elite law schools in boston
Well, I hope that your trip is productive and gives you the answer you need (either way!)

You'd be surprised, Boston isn't really a "Law City" and a would bet the majority of those elite law school grads move to a different city
I would back that up as well. Unless they're in tech/start-up, Boston is not as attractive as some other cities.
interesting
thanks! But still MSU is 4k/year UNH is 15/k currently and according to lawschooltransparency UNH rasies tuition by 1k each year. I would need something very impressive for 4x the cost. I would MUCH rather live in NH. I love the politics of the region but money :/. Housing near UNH is much more than i thought. I would definitely need roommates
Yes, the northeast isn't cheap. How was your trip?
