Seat deadline is tomorrow. Maybe more action after that
@ColorfulThickBullfrog: Idk when you sent that message but seat deadline is definitely not tomorrow because tomorrow is not April 10th

Sorry to hear that. Does GMU usually send in waves?
WL'd just now.
@ColorfulThickBullfrog: sorry, just didn’t want anyone else to be mislead by your incorrect info. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yeah I made a mistake reading a different year. Just felt like it was kind of aggressive. Most people, if confused, would go to the email or website to clarify seat deposit over blindly listening to someone on LSD (I hope).
I know it's late in the cycle, but my husband's job is moving to VA. Is it even worth my time to apply to GMU with a 155 lsat? It doesn't seem like it...
ColorfulThickBullfrog

Would be difficult imo. Got waitlisted with a low 160. Have you looked at American or Catholic Univeristy? It’s in D.C. but it’s probably like 10 minutes from George Mason @skillfulhurriedladybird

Anyone know why they review waitlist in May if first seat deposit is April 10?
I don't know, but their regular application deadline is 4/30.
ColorfulThickBullfrog
12:05
@AlluringAbidingSheepdog: That is probably why. I forgot that priority app was March 31

Waitlist movement for GM seems pretty low which is unfortunate

GM is mean
15:47
What is the likelhood of GMU waitlist movement
based on nothing other than the numbers on LSD, chances seem pretty low. Maybe more GMU applicants are just using LSD more this year but considering the number of accepted applicants is already higher than it has been for the last 5 years(by al most 2x for most of those years), it seems unlikely that GMU will need to pull from the WL much, if at all, to fill their class. But who knows. Only time will tell for sure.
actually, I'm retracting (or qualifying) my previous statement. Just realized the current "withdrawn" number is also much lower than past years so the current accepted number may drop a lot if a lot of people move to the withdrawn category.

Last years class was 97 admitted students and the current 3L is 260ish. I would assume they aim for around 150+ this year like the norm for them. Last year is a pretty bad indicator of WL movement but previous years suggest it is not large.
ColorfulThickBullfrog
15:51
A few people in general admitted to not withdrawing as of yet but withdrawing in the near future because of the conversative atmosphere.

20:39
they said at ASD they’re expecting a class of 120 this year. Not sure how WL movement will look in that case.
ColorfulThickBullfrog
21:53
@KindlyTightfistedOgre: A current student said the same thing to me so yeah not a huge increase from 97. Historically they don’t have much WL movement but I’m hoping for a miracle
ColorfulThickBullfrog
22:01
I’ve put a lot of effort into this WL but perhaps I should be realistic with myself and admit it’s highly unlikely 😔
ayeee 28th lets gooo
a genuine T30 now
