@trees1234567: ok that makes sense! i only asked because sometimes people with higher diagnostic scores find that tutors actually don't help them very much because they actually already ~know~ most of the material they just need to grind it, when I looked into becoming a tutor it seemed like a lot of it was focused on helping people who like really just didn't understand the LSAT. having a tutor would def not hurt and i mean depending on your home life/how many pre-law people you know, just having someone in your corner to talk to about it would be helpful to.

@wasp I agree - I certainly have test anxiety! @splitter that is such a fun guide; I am going to save and read it @manifest I feel like having a tutor will help me get over the hump on the highest level questions and diagnose some issues that I cannot seem to put a finger on!

Honestly tutors/prep books can only take you so far. Once you know what each question type wants its all about grinding material and deep personal review

also, in my opinion at least, try to be as genuine and real as you can and don't focus on playing up certain things you think they might want to hear. i think in hindsight that my applications suffered because my PS was more focused on what i thought would look good to adcoms than what would have otherwise just been my genuine self
