just wanna be taken off the wl
the first one isn't until april so the second one won't be until like may or june
so honestly i wouldn't be expecting to be taken off any time soon
i've heard of someone getting offered a seat after classes already started
when do we think the next wave will be

Did anyone else get a call from the admissions team to notify of waitlist status?
how long do you think it takes to be notified about priority waitlist status?
does anyone think we will hear back about waitlist status before April 15? I have to make a seat deposit for a school by then and I got waitlisted by fsu. I would love to go to FSU (they're my first choice), but I dont know if I will hear back by then :(
15:05
if money isn't tight i would pay that seat deposit to secure your spot SOMEWHERE in hopes that fsu might accept you a little later. that's my plan i think.

i told fsu that i wouldnt wait any longer than april 1st.
thx carl bob!!
& I told them April 9. I hope I hear back before then but if not ill prob just put in my seat deposit to my second option :)

is fsu taking people off the wl today because omfg
just got a call with my acceptance
I just got waitlisted, I am still deciding if I would like to remain on the waitlist or just withdraw my application. If I do stay on the waitlist and am accepted would that offer include any scholarship?
@professionalpickme: Congratulations on your acceptance!!
@FutureTattooedLawyer: thank you!
14:50
@FutureTattooedLawyer: Your stats are super strong, I'm surprised they waitlisted you...

Has anyone on WL or PWL heard anything recently?
@Vinkevchi: I was honestly surprised, but I guess everything happens for a reason

Does FSU put anyone on the WL, or is everyone on the PWL if they submit a statement of continued interest?
I don't think there's even a difference between priority and normal
Once the rankings come out, they're going to go to both lists and see what their class profile is missing.
Just consider that FSU current position in the rankings is what UF was back in 2019

should i give up on fsu now?
10:13
@TellTaleTimes: yeah they are clearly aiming to catch up
At this point, I am really only waiting on FSU. ASU and Alabama prob won't give $. FSU in-state is CHEAP
12:05
Apparently first seat deposit is due 4/14 so after that they should start going through the waitlist.
