Anybody go to the accepted students day? I have a conflict with another school and couldn't attend. Wondering what the vibe was?
@TranquilityBaseCLO: I went. I was mostly impressed. Definitely got great vibes from the prospective students - seems like it will be a vibrant community. The current students seemed satisfied with their experience too. Some just didn't like Atlanta lol. Apparently the 2023 employment data comes out this week with a 97% employment rate 10 months out. V impressive. Also, they told us that 35 or so law firms including many BL firms come to the school in Oct of 1L to begin the recruiting process for 2L summer. Emory clearly has national standing and reach. It was strange that they gave us the reading for the mock law class when we arrived for the visiting day rather than before, and there seemed to be a lack of communication between professors and administrators, including the dean of admissions. But overall I was impressed
