OutstandingImpartialKingfisher
17:53
No word?
19:29
Adcom told me "a couple of weeks" today, which is disappointing. I wonder if they extended their deposit deadline again.
OutstandingImpartialKingfisher
19:41
Every major school has given some sort of an update. Emory has had no communication
21:02
Yeah, it's tricky. I really don't want to pay my upcoming second deposit while waiting for Emory to say something, but what choice do I have?
Does Emory even accept people off the waitlist?
badbitty777
11:42
I was gonna give emory until june 1st but ... thats next week
OutstandingImpartialKingfisher
14:02
Yeah Idk what they doing when even harvard is moving through theirs
badbitty777

@mamabigbucks: what do you say when you email?
OutstandingImpartialKingfisher
16:34
This is kinda ridiculous, will be withdrawing end of this week
badbitty777
10:34

OutstandingImpartialKingfisher
10:38

badbitty777
11:48

badbitty777
11:48
im tired of this
12:58
Sorry, just seeing this. When I email, it's pretty short. Just saying I'm still very interested but will remain patient through the process. Let us know what they respond back with.
badbitty777
13:01
they said "we expect updates for the waitlist to begin in mid-june"
13:04
Mid-June, rude! I told them I would be patient so I guess I'll be sticking around.
13:05
Thanks for the update.
badbitty777
13:05
just annoying cause its alrady late af
badbitty777
13:05
already
OutstandingImpartialKingfisher
17:13
yeah im out, mid june is too far in
badbitty777
10:08
sigh
14:39
Does anyone have any new insight into what is going on? We are in June, and there is still radio silence.
badbitty777
17:36
Have you emailed them since I did
I emailed admissions today to check in, and they said that once they have an update, they will let me know. Their emails have become more and more vague; I don't think they know what is going on.

fr, how slow..
14:41
Right? When I first was waitlisted, I was told I would receive a decision "soon". That has moved to "a couple weeks" to "mid-June" to "soon".
badbitty777
10:42
theyre pissing me off
12:35
I was offered a spot off a waitlist at another school, but I have to deposit by Friday. I would still rather go to Emory. I wish it was appropriate to reach out to Emory and ask if they would be looking at their waitlist this week, but I know it'd be ineffective and annoying.
I’m rooting for y’all bc I need more instate people to get into Emory to free up from the GSU waitlist lol
