Tell us what's important to you
Yes I've really only applied to Texas schools and Tulane. I've been accepted to OU and haven't heard from anyone else
Did you apply to tx tech or Baylor? My app still isn’t under review for txtech
I actually didn't apply to either of those schools :/ I have heard that some schools don't ever say under review though (smu being one of them)
<3 hopefully that's the case :')
You should feel confident about Tech and Baylor! uhlc is where I want to go SO BAD im dying over here
@LivingGreyKangaroo: if you don't get the "edit" button, you aren't going to be waitlisted. they give the "edit" feature so you can update your contact info while on the waitlist. so you are either going to get accepted or not. my gut says accepted. rooting for ya, good luck!
@ForegoingDefectiveSnail: frick I have the edit button
Yep, edit button here, guess I’ll see you on waitlist
@ForegoingDefectiveSnail: thank you for all of this :,) I've had the edit button since the first WL I guess they just decided I would be on a waitlist and didn't put me on the first one
and by the way there is a whopping chance i could be wrong! of the other applicants whom i personally know, including both As and Rs, neither pool had "edit" buttons added to their profiles. i could be, and i hope i am for y'all's sake, wrong. still rooting for As — but good luck! if not then see you on the waitlist :)
It will let me click through and pay a seat deposit, not sure if that means anything, have heard that for other schools it does
Thank you snail! Hey if not then we're in it together and it'll work out how it's meant to
@Bangingavels: that's so interesting I would think it would mean something! Can I ask what your stats are?
Any news anyone
Houston and I apparently have vastly different definitions of “Early decision”. This is ridiculous.
Nothing. Also applied early decision
oh :,)
they had another A wave I was not apart of lol
not that my stats are similar to the A stats at all
@LivingGreyKangaroo: same 🥲
So how long after the admit email does the scholly email
get sent (oops, didn’t mean to send that other message yet)
lol wait, screw off. I sent my above medians app in November for early decision. It took them until almost March to review. Now they’re sending out “the scholarship budget has been exhausted”? Nah screw this bum ass school I’m out lmao, good luck to everyone else
Has anyone whose been denied had an “edit” button their profile?
Still waiting on scholarships... For others who got accepted how long did it take to get scholarships?
@Jack77 check your acceptance email. I was accepted on the same day as you; in the 3rd paragraph you most likely have a sentence that reads “Please be advised at this point in the admissions cycle, the scholarship budget has been exhausted.”
This school is shameless like that. Love to sneak in little things like that
Sure enough yall were right. They ran out of sholly money. Most likely wont attend for sticker so hopefully they change it.
I only got OOS waiver
