Looking at the chart, 7 rejections were issued (including my own) on Friday. Best wishes to you all in the week ahead.
I don't think it'll be today folks, the date on the early decision pdf changed from "today" to mid-February
The pdf I signed always said mid-Feb, but their website still says the 5th so maybe still today for us ED folks?
dangerously close to withdrawing if I dont hear back today. Super annoying if they go back and change the ED date.
WL wave
Looks like it is a mix. Is it just ED? Do these decisions come out all at the same time?
Got WL and I was RD
Does anyone know off the top of their head when the RD deadline is for George Mason? I've applied to lots of other schools already, but am now considering applying to GM. I'm above both medians.
^ Not that being above both medians makes any difference to when the deadline is, obviously.
But maybe it makes a difference to the likelihood of acceptance if I apply really late?
@iwbeasscjoafjoalcs: I believe it's March 1 if I'm remembering correctly.
finally went under review after being complete since 9/23
does status change to ur?
@beansandsuch: yes
I didn't think it did since ive been marked complete for almost 5 months but alas it does go under review
How does gmu notify you of their decision? Is it emailed?
lets gooooooooooooooooo
@TackyEightSatyr: email
really thought it was joever being so long from the interview and later interviewers getting in first but all is good
Did anyone else who got WL’ed get asked to fill out a form to confirm interest, but didn’t receive the form?
@positivelushcoral. You have to click on the same link that asks you to remove yourself from the waitlist. I don't know why they did it that way, but it's the same form.
Does anyone know why their review process seems to be out of order? Do they just review candidates more likely to be accepted first?
I have no idea, was wondering when our next wave will be…
Anyone else just get ii?
What questions did they ask in the interview?
Anyone this cycle have their scholarship increased yet?
I applied in mid October and was told in my interview in December that I should hear back by the end of January. Is it a bad look to reach out to make sure that everything is good with my application / write a LOCI even though they haven't rendered a decision yet?
Anyone know whether Scalia Law’s 10 month employment data is over 95%? I’ve seen two different stats, one at 78% and one at 95%
Nvrm, figured it out lol
@TenuousVolatileHuman: I think it's entirely reasonable to very humbly reach out and ask what's going on. They told you they'd have a decision by January end and it's now March. Nothing wrong with asking.
