14:31
so their loss
14:31
And those expectations are not something we can determine from the outside, or even guesstimate particularly well based on incomplete and self-reported data from 20% of applicants

makes sense

I usually assume reddit and LSD together are like 1/3 of applicants for the t14, the numbers go down as the school rank does
14:35
Pretty much, with some variation. A few schools with lay prestige - Harvard, Georgetown, Columbia - some to get a very high share of "fuck it we ball" applicants who are several degrees to casual to end up on here, so their numbers here are closer to 1/4 of applicants than 1/3
14:35
*seem to get
14:35
*several degrees too casual, I swear I can type
split are you the one that made the reddit survey about ich
i saw it and thought of you

14:37
I just stalk looking for UMich WL to A
14:38
Factor in the people who don't report final results (390/1651 Chicago applicants and 375/1941 HLS applicants this cycle are still "pending") and LSData gets actual result data from about 20% of the pool for most T14s. At 14/15, going to dip for a bit
me too lmao also people were asking about UVA and someone said theyre looking to raise GPA Median but someone was in chat like a few days ago saying they were just let off the WL as a splitter so
SplitOnMe
14:40
UVA seems to be letting a FEW splitters in, but mainly 3.95+

Everyone knows adcoms spend all day making fake profiles of stats from their cycle
Question - If I have a 172 (current pt scores) lsat with a 3.4 undergrad gpa (double major Econ/ polo-sci, Econ destroying my gpa), and pretty solid softs (1 year americorps, president and top exec at multiple orgs., prestigious internship, and scholarship awards), what schools do I have a realistic shot at (worth applying too)? I have good letters of rec and this cycle I applied with a first time 162 lsat and 3.5 gpa and got WL at a top 20 and at a few T30 schools. Also a URM.
and what can I do to raise my odds besides hitting 180 lsat lol

14:44
Only god knows, admissions is voodoo babe
@SplitOnMe: yeah no to quote myself a school being friendly to a splitter doesnt mean its automatically splitter friendly but its also reasonable to know there might still be a space for you
14:46
with good writing skills i'd think you have a shot at t30 but i dont really know anything
@Seagulleagle10: if you reapply with a LSAT score around where u are practice testing at than ur good to apply to any school and try ur luck
@Seagulleagle10: if you're regularly scoring low 170s and you don't feel too burnt out then its definitely worth shooting for mid 170s. a lot of people point out that WashU is very very splitter friendly so if you can get your score up that would be really good for your admissions prospects there. i think people usually say to just cast a wide net and hope for the best
@xXxPoonDestroyerxXx: ok good I'll actually have the money to apply to a lot of schools this cycle and luckily I am somehow not burnt out at all studying so thanks to LG gone I think I might be able to pull off 172 or higher in august
Vandy is my dream school but if I have a shot at the t14 without completely wasting my application money then I want to go for it
