anyway, sorry for complaining guys. just came as kind of a shock and I was hoping from an A from a safety (which are increasingly looking like the schools I'm going to be forced to choose from) so I could at least have a decision to make

The NALP only shows after the first year
why did UCI waitlist me, i feel so offended
i wasn't going to go there anyway, but still i thought you would've accepted me still you know
Well, they probably guessed you weren't going to go there and protected their yield!
so what's your take on this whole AI situation, VengefulDazzlingPegasus? Do you think it will change the demand for lawyers?
Oh, what do I know? Not really, if I had to guess. Not for good lawyers, anyhow. But, who knows as it progresses.
haha yeah
congrats on columbia btw
Guys, any idea on Cornell "review is complete" without ever having been interviewed??
I know that with interview is definite A. But would it be WL/R without interview?

For the people discussing AI I’d say it’s even more important for us to stay out of debt

These are tools we can also use but the robots run on programs it’s not like they’re perfect

They’re just extensions of ourselves

for now, ai will be useful for automating simple administrative tasks like certain kinds of writing that lawyers have to do a lot. but its waaay to error prone to be relied on for anything more important than that.

Yeah I'd say legal assisstants and paralegals have more to worry about in the short term.

@GooberSnatcher: when did you interview?
AI can do a lot but admin staff like paralegals and legal assistants keep the attorneys in check.... like the old saying go, secretaries are god.
*goes lol
