make it make sense uva
14:30
UVA seems like they ignore dates more than any other T14
14:31
I mean they seem to have the least correlation between application date and result or II date
@GullibleTurtle: SAME. I'm a super reverse splitter so maybe that is the reason for me :(

UChi sends 30% or so of their grads to FC and so that means International students compete for 150 spots, not 217+

Supreme court dreams in youth, academia, and it is the type of thing that gets you jobs in the future (remember the old saying "your first job after university is the most important job in your life as it will define your trajectory?").
prestige whoring soft req for elite outcomes
It’s basically being an attorney working for a judge
CTCSH
14:39
DOJ becomes easier
youre basically an intern for a judge is what i gathered
14:39
@GullibleTurtle: judges right hand man basically, help with legal research and writing, but im mainly doing it to become a better attorney and build prestige lol. soft requirement for boutique litigation firms and prestiigous lit positions in biglaw
it also depends on the judge and the court. some judges make you do all the work, some judges not so much
14:39
It's one of the biggest resume boosters you can get especially court of appeals and above
14:40
COA more chill, doesnt have as much to do with what ur gonna do, FD is more interactive and practical
it's prestigious because it's something hard and competitive. so getting it shows employers that you are a high quality candidate
