@snow: you hate me
11:29
i was familiar with washU in high school because it was a significant target for a lot of students. i think i knew like 10 people in my grad class who went to washU despite our being from florida

guys I have big news I have a linkedin profile picture now
lilypadfrog
11:29
this is so bad for my aura
11:29
@shaquilleoatmeal: gotta think smaller than that

do law schools care about undergrad prestige? asking for a friend
Before I was involved in this process, berk and ucla were the same in my head. Never lived out west
GreyCeaselessMammoth
11:29
i don't think so, maybe they care 2%
11:30
@lilypadfrog: it's a nice photo!

11:30
i have had good outcomes with a no-name undergrad 90% of people have never heard of (except for dean z i guess)
GreyCeaselessMammoth
11:30
as long as you have good grades
shaquilleoatmeal
11:30
@Trismegistus: no, i went to a no name school that only had 3 students attend law schools so lsac didnt even have data. Schools dont care, maybe yls but thats it
@Trismegistus: idk I went to an Ivy and we have 20% acceptance to HLS, 40% to NYU, 46% to Vanderbilt, 25% to UChicago...idk if that's law schools caring or just people at Ivies getting higher LSATs
GreyCeaselessMammoth
11:30
i think you get a slight bump if you went to like a T20 undergrad AND did well but i think it's neutral if you went like anywhere else
YLS though hates us, only 8%
jackfrost11770
11:31
It's what sassy said ppl just generally have higher scores/grades. But if you have equivalent stats as those people then yes prestige doesn't matter
Trismegistus
11:31
@Sassy-Scholar116: yeah so did i, i’m FGLI and did real well there, but my LSAT is eh
GreyCeaselessMammoth
11:31
i went to a state school but we had like a top philosophy program so our LSAT distribution is crazy
Pitt?
GreyCeaselessMammoth
11:32
if you're asking me, no
jackfrost11770
11:32
NU calls happening btw .... nothing for me wow awesome
@jackfrost11770: honestly probably the most likely answer. Our average LSATs for accepted students is on par/higher than the student body at large, but our GPAs are (generally) lower (accept SLS and YLS which are each 4.0)

@info-man: thank you info man I agreed to be in someone’s campaign ads a couple months ago and her campaign manager just told me yesterday btw I have headshots of you from that thing
Ah okay

Just saw a bacon wrapped chicken cutlet stuffed with Mac and cheese on my TikTok I’m bricked
I sadly think undergrad institution plays a role in the t-6 and especially the t-3
I agree Lion

I mean yeah I am not talking about Harvard or Yale, didn't assume we were
jackfrost11770
