@jb2028: Wait if I didn't say anything but also didn't make any deposit, is that fine? Like I got automatically withdrawn because I didn't make a deposit but didn't bother sending them an official letter.

@menherachan: That's good to know! Tbh I don't go clubbing in Korea so I didn't know this
@LuckyDog: Exactly. The ABA encourages schools to let applicants weigh all their options (which students could not do if schools made them withdraw from waitlists).
totally understandable. i was let into a club in itaewon and some random guy started rapping kanye west lyrics in my face in broken english and then tried to invite me back to his place to "eat ramen and chill" without even asking my name 😭 korean clubs are an experience lol
If you committed 4/25 and just let any May 1st deadlines pass, unlikely you'd get in trouble. If you accepted a scholarship that requires you to withdraw from other As in January, then sat on your other As for three months, maybe that would be an issue.

@menherachan: I'm sorry to hear!! I did hear about some clubs being "no foreigners" because of no English or something like that, but I thought we left that back in 2016 :(

@menherachan: omg nooo. the ramen excuse is so cliché too but not the kanye west lyrics 💀
@KimchiQueen: its crazy bc the clubs were playing travis scott and megan thee stallion but i wasn't allowed in 💀 i guess they only like black music, not black people 😭
The "If you receive new information prior to matriculation prompting you to reconsider your decision, please contact the Admissions Office immediately." language I quoted earlier is there so 1. the school can try to work around any solvable issues (e.g., a much better aid offer elsewhere) 2. the school knows if you end up going elsewhere, so they can offer the spot to someone on the waitlist
