My brother is in negotiations for a lease for a commercial building to start a retail store :). The landlord wants him to be solely responsible for all repairs and maintenance under any circumstance “ordinary and extraordinary” structural or nonstructural, all hvac. And he would like him to sign off saying he is renting the building in “good condition” and “as is”
