@valleyh: dew it! Frfr being an employee is like being a slave, and the greeks agreed!
I feel like a slave
My attorneys are in the office ~30% of the time and still expect us to give 200%... I am at the point of resenting them
My job isnt too bad but like also im so ready to be a student again
don't worry some day you will be the unreasonable attorney

good morning future lawyers

in better news I got -0 on a timed LG section last night :')
If anything this job has taught me how NOT to treat my subordinates
Congrats Valley!!!
yeah working as a legal assistant/para is helpful to learn what kind of attorney not to be

@TediousSparrow: I couldnt agree more about the treatment of subordinates
The attorney at my firm is awesome
I come to work every day just to get berated and screamed at (if the atty is in the office) or completely ignored (if the atty is MIA)
my goal is to one day be as cool as the partner who told us to spend a day stalking some guy's linkedin for a trade secrets case lmao

@tedious that is a feature, not a glitch lol Do you decide what you do? Then you are a slave, a wage slave.

I work with an attorney who causes 90% of our group's problems (family law) and then shifts blame whenever shit hits the fan
why do you work for those fuckwads? there's plenty of attorneys who aren't screamers
My company’s in house attorney went to a non t100 tho so LSD would say he is trash
He’s awesome tho
Oh they treated me super nice when I was an intern but then I started full time, and one of the attys wrote an LOR for me. And then it got too late in the cycle for me to start another job. So I'm just suffering for two months and then I'm free

Just a reminder that mcdonalds managers in nyc pull 300k before bonuses
I'm complaining a lot, but I love the work I'm doing... I just hate where I'm doing it
what area of law do you do again?
