All the decisions that came out today were sent after mine lol Unfortunate
@SadZonkedCobra: what does that mean?
@REDDEADZED: yeah i've been UR2 with substatus since Jan 20 I feel you
19:53
@iwbeasscjoafjoalcs: Mine said the same thing. They received my complete application on Feb 1 and I just got a phone call today with my decision.
19:54
So it took them less than 3 weeks which is honestly pretty impressive
19:54
I don't understand how they are reviewing applications out of order

does anyone elses tracker keep updating records?
@AbandonedDrearyLemon: I don’t know if it’s a real term but it’s basically when they try to keep or raise their rank by becoming more selective but without actually improving their school in any way. The fact that their graph looks so vastly different this year vs years prior suggests it.
I assumed the ones with high stats are just the first ones to get in because they probably don't take as long to accept them.
But we'll see how the chart fills in when they start going through more of the middle-of-the-road stat people

Does anyone know why so many UMN law grads take a clerkship as their first full-time legal job after graduation? I actually like to see that, since I'm interested in clerking myself, but I just find it a bit peculiar. For most law schools ranked similarly to UMN don't have clerkship numbers nearly that high. Is it perhaps because the law firm jobs for which these grads would be most competitive aren't sufficiently interesting to them?
10:32
any insight on waves this week?
10:37
All I know is last Friday they emailed me for the WL. Not sure if that helps
10:54
Off. I saw that semi large WL/rejection.
10:54
When did you apply if you dont mind me asking?
Looks like another green Monday! good luck everyone :)
13:27
I wish I would get a decision! Been under review two since January 11....
13:32
are these phone calls or status checker?
14:29
Mine was an email that said "welcome to the admitted students website" that prompted me to go look at the status checker lol
14:30
felt anticlimactic, but crazy to get a relatively quick A after applying so late. thankful :)
same @bobbirambles !

my status changed from what it was originally (idr tbh) to 2/20 and now 2/26. Should i expect something maybe tom?
11:46
Mine also did the same thing

15:30
did anyones substatus disappear?
TanSwankyCorgi
16:35
anyone have any luck negotiating scholarship $$?

16:40
If you look at UMN I think they are trying to copy what WashU and GA did to move up in rankings- right angle at 169 and 3.9. If you are above those they will give you $$$$

16:40
I mean above either, not necessarily both,

So, I completed my interview on January 23, and my status checker still does not have the "interview received" box at the bottom checked. However, the status checker does say that the application is in review. Should I email them to make sure they got the interview? I did also get an email confirming that the interview was completed. But still, the status checker itself seems to indicate that the interview was not received. Thoughts?

anyone else get the waitlist info session invite
11:25
@8888887777776t6t: The box for interview on mine stayed unchecked the entire time and I already received my decision. You can email but i would not worry about it-seems like a system glitch
