wave rn? according to reddit...

i'll see ya there Bobbi!! YAY
I doubt we see any more waitlist movement than normal. Back in 2021, a year where law school attendance was down across the board there were only 3 WL>A on this site, which was more than normal and I would be surprised if we saw much if any more this year. Normally its steady between 0-2 reported on this site, so even seeing 5 would be a lot. The number of LSATs 165+ are down a bit, but scores 170-174 are only down marginally. Plus admissions teams know all this and adjust accordingly in the review process, leading to the guess there won't likely be more than the normal 1-4 WL>A we tend to see.
16:13
The normal waitlist to accepted is 4... in total??
Not in total, just on this site, and that only includes people who actually update their status, which is probably most but not all. Its hard to see how many total as it not published, but my guess would be between 10-30. There are 900 people accepted each year, and about 300, or one third report on here. So if you take the 3 WL>A people and assume that's also a third you get the 10. There are also 7000 applicants yearly, and this site only gets 1200 reporting, so if you assume the 4 WL>A represent a seventh of the total, you get the 30 total. Long story short, 4 is not total, and its hard to know the true number so all any of us can do is speculate.

it's hard to tell how waitlist will be for Texas. 170+ LSATs in Texas are down around 10%, but that only accounts for roughly 30 test takers. I'm an IS splitter, so only hope I have is that UT will need to hit their state-required quota of IS attendees and they'll need my lsat to hit medians with the downward trend lol
I am OOS splitter, I need to get in!!!
How can you figure out that 170+ is down for Texas?

Bad sign or good sign that missed the R wave for the people that had the same II date as mine?

Has anyone had success getting more money after requesting a scholarship reconsideration?
Does anyone know how much a LOCI helps with waitlist applicants? In the WL email, it says to only send 1 of we wish to send additional material
Nvm^^
My husband and i both applied it UT Austin at the same time and our applications went into review on the same day. He received his "R" two weeks ago but, I have not heard back from them yet. Is that a good or bad sign? 😅

@ElitePlasticOrange: it’s a good sign in the sense that they’re still considering you at least
10:41
@NothingButGreen: were you WL -> R?

Does UT call or email?
^^ curious ab that. I feel like I've only heard ppl getting A's thru phone calls
As the call ans send an email later WL and Rs get emails
Are they done with As?
probably not fully done, but likely done with waves. anything else will be stragglers who applied late
When are the deposit deadlines? This is so
Frustrating
