Where are the decisions bro
reddit poll says 5 people have been accepted

I saw that, it also looks like less people applied ED this year than last year. Maybe they are holding out on decisions for borderline ED ppl until they review their applicant pool?
that’s what I was thinking too. maybe they’re concerned about medians & wanna see the pool first

@NebulousPresentSquid: Id take that with a grain of salt. Not only is reddit not representative of the whole,, but its incredibly easy to lie on those polls
I think the median thing is true. With schools that offer money simply for applying ED it is often harder to get in below the medians as they want to secure applicants at the median. Everyone below 168 got waitlisted or rejected. Now that their medians went up again, I would bet the same pattern continues and most all ED people below 170 are at best deferred.
yeah makes sense. looks like most EDs w/ decision pending on lsd are under 170.
*last year everyone below 168. All but 1 of the people who got in ED had above a 170. Of course its still possible below the medians if you have a strong essays and softs, but realistically dont expect an ED boost to save you, there's a good shot you'll be considered again RD.
idk why I used the noun 'you', im not talking about you specifically NBS, more of a you general

I’ve heard people saying that their medians went up again this year to 171. Haven’t seen that confirmed anywhere.

15:24
Ah gotcha, well hopefully that doesn’t mean I’m SOL with my 170!
I would doubt it. Youre still right there, plus they need 65% instate and so theres a good chance they want to lock one in at 170
looking at their new medians, a 168 25th percentile is crazy

Yea it is, their class size has shrank pretty significantly from 2020 (417 to 265?) Maybe they will look for a bigger class this year with them graduating a massive class + rankings methods changing. Pure speculation though
If you look at their 1L enrollment over the past decade they seem to prefer it around 290-310. 2021 saw it up in the 400s but almost every school saw a bump there. My guess is coming off the pandemic more people decided they wanted to go to law school so most schools saw a bump in yields unexpectedly. I wouldn't expect the yields to bump again like they did, so it'll likely stay around 300
Anyone heard anything yet? My app status has said under review for 2 weeks now
I completed my interview on the 20th, as of now nothing further besides an email indicating they will watch it soon.

Did all new UR applicants get the interview invite today?
SmoothRaggedRoadrunner
15:29
Since switching from Kira to VidCruiter, licensed/user numbers have eased and this year a larger number of applicants will receive invitations to interview. Perhaps not all, but most.

Did you apply ED or RD?
OrganicToothsomeAxolotl

ED
hold or deferred to RD?? aren’t they different
OrganicToothsomeAxolotl

The language they use is “hold to regular decision”
ah gotcha, so technically a deferral. good luck to u!!! maybe send a loci some time, i saw it work for someone else on reddit last cycle!
