Student loans are the worst part of law school.

LSD is building a tool to make them a little better.

LSD is building a student loan portal that prioritizes students' needs. The portal is completely free for students and will help students to identify the loans that work best for them.

Pre-register for our portal below. Pre-registration helps us get more lenders to join, which means better rates for all.

Please sign in to pre-register

How does it work?

Simply Put (kind of)

We run an auction between lenders for your business. Like eBay for loans, where lower rates are winners.

A little more detail

It's all automated, but it's a little bit like:

  • We get a bunch of lenders in a room
  • The lenders say what they can offer you
  • Then they go around again and try to beat each other by offering better terms
  • They keep going until we find the lender that will offer you the best terms

UNCs holds are personally insulting so yes
i just truly do not care what schools are doing w their admit decisions outside of my own

15:36
Do we think SLS will have a mini wave today?
15:36
@OneMillionTrout: oh it can definitely work both ways. i really respect schools that are timely
@UniqueSuccotash: amen
Harvard too. I like the giving dates that they're releasing decisions bit
i'm putting off checking my mail on the offchance my mitts came in today
Hope that starts something
15:37
i hope emory is consistent
15:37
@UniqueSuccotash: i meant more so waiting on my apps a super long time. Not necessarily the stats of ppl getting accepted

@TennisNerd1331: idk what they’re waiting for
def selfishly hoping that adcomms are as thirsty for 170+ LSAT scores as the chat thinks lol
@PriusDrivingCarnivore: disrespectful of applicants who have a lot to settle / who are moving far
@PriusDrivingCarnivore: im fine with it if i get accepted in the end lol
Were emory emails all sent at once?
Duke: You are ugly, but the other people chose other schools so youre in
15:38
at this point, I feel like schools are making me wait 5 months to just R or WL me which is kind of annoying
PriusDrivingCarnivore
15:38
@OneMillionTrout: yes!! finances, working a job and having to uproot my life w a partner is so hard
Honestly if my results so far are useful for anything it's showing everyone else that they care too much about the LSAT
15:38
does anyone know emory's waitlist numbers
15:38
how can i find that out
sad about no american decisions today :(
15:39
wait it looks like someone had one from au
no info if it was today though
15:39
ugh
@jberg: i mean if they don't respond to me before april, then i will likely start making plans for other schools, which inherently "impacts" the decision making, but isn't based on how long i wait
american has chosen torture
