Hello friends. Do we know if there has been any WL movement since the May 1st seat deposit?
They said there would be some movement that first week after the deposit deadline, but I haven't heard of anyone getting in haha.
called last week and they said not yet
nothing reported on here...
AbleLittlePebble
15:12
reddit has been quiet as well, so don't think there was much movement
AbleLittlePebble
15:12
maybe bc they ended up doing it the week before?
the dean of admissions said they expected to make WL offers after the 1st deposit deadline. IK they made some offers before as well but there was still room in the class at that point
maybe im just coping
I don't think you're coping. It seems like they just haven't done any WL movement since that may 1st deadline yet.
AbleLittlePebble
18:00
okay so i called today and spoke with what sounded like a student worker, she asked her supervisor (think it was dean of admissions) my questions and basically from what she relayed back to me was that they predict next pull from waitlist will be after 2nd deposit deadline
AbleLittlePebble
18:01
idk if she was confused or something got lost in communication in between going back and forth, but thought i'd share!
well thats not encouraging. same as Davis WL
AbleLittlePebble
19:09
from what it sounded like though there haven't been any pulls since before the may 1st deadline, i think they're just trying to finalize numbers before starting to pull again
yeah I get it. and from their perspective we're nearly at the 2nd deadline anyway
hastings is a safety for a lot of people
AbleLittlePebble
19:57
yeah so i'm just hoping everybody who accepted an offer at hastings but are holding out for another waitlist get off their waitlist so we can get off this one
