Tell us what's important to you
why just the kias and hyundais??
I used to drive a mini cooper and I parked it in a garage, got broken into 3 times. got a parking permit and started parking it on the street...never happened again lol
the way they manufactured them there's a really easy way to hotwire them. its actually not even hotwiring they just insert a hacked USB and the car starts
That was such a Philly answer LOL feel like you guys said parking is fine then listed off all of the times your cars have been hotwired and broken into hahaha
It's inevitable in any city - I'm moreso worried about the car getting banged and dinged up 24/7
I appreciate the replies though! Everyone seems to love that Queen's Village area. I'm older (just turned 30 lol), so living in the thick of things isn't a deal breaker for me. Just want the nicest spot relative to the costs and whatnot
yeah i have a pretty nice truck... i am not sure i want to live in the city with it getting dinged up/wheels/tires stolen lol
i will probably just look for a spot in abington or jenkintown tbh
LOL that's my issue too. Wheels and exhaust - it's the car person's curse, I notice every new ding and scratch
lol i can’t think of a place I’d like to live less than Abington and jenkintown. That could be like an hour + commute and would not(in my opinion) be a fun place to live
Honestly you don’t even need a car let alone a truck here
Yeah but i dont want to live downtown :/ id rather not live in philly philly
@OvertReconditeSpider: why not check out east falls, east oak lane, or chestnut hill?
Delayed, but East Falls is nice then? That seems like a decent compromise area as far as close to the city but also a bit more relaxed

Separate email?
@wealthofnations: yeah its nice, families etc. have you been to philly? it really might be worth your while to take a little drive around. its really a very low key place
@GullibleDemonicChimpanzee: i got my scholarship in the original email
@AbandonedCumbersomePotato: I'm originally from NJ. Have been to Philly, but can't say I'm vividly familiar with the areas. My ex girlfriend went to St. Joes though - so I do remember that area being decent. That was almost a decade ago though haha
ok! i really really really think you should come and at least drive around. nothing worse than signing a year long lease and realizing you are far from all your friends and the good restaurants etc.
@AbandonedCumbersomePotato: word! appreciate you humoring the inquiries haha
i really love philly more than my own mother..im always down to talk about it
can anyone who has received a decision tell me if they didn't go "under review". my app has been marked "complete" since December 12 and this week would have been 10 weeks since applying...feeling crazy lol
I went under review
