Tell us what's important to you
@legallydillydallying: Do you have an updated status or does it say you're still UR?
im wondering if maybe once the may 15th deadline passes they might admit some of us? maybe delulu
legallydillydallying
12:26
@WhisperingMagnificentDeer: still UR, no changes other than a new, ominous, empty mailing section
legallydillydallying
12:27
no date change, no movement on lawhub
I'll be honest, I feel like I've had that for a while in my portal and haven't had a response/movement.
On the other hand, I didn't get access to the portal until about 3.5 weeks ago since I never got the login info. Admissions said they were having issues with certain email domains apparently. Whether or not that's true idk.
legallydillydallying
13:14
oh okay. ik it's for sure new in my portal (i've been checking obsessively) but maybe its not indicative of anything.
legallydillydallying
13:15
i've had access for almost 3 months, this is the first time i've seen any changes

By the way, just got a response from them about an update on the application. The admissions person said "Please note that our 1L class for Fall 2024 has been filled. Our office is in the process of sending out remaining decisions with the possibility of some applicants being waitlisted. "

Shoot. I was about to email lol
Man, I feel then for feb applicants. It's full before even getting to them
me, a feb applicant ):
uh oh i also have that section- does that mean its a no lol?
I feel like at that point they might as well refund your application.
lol ikr. i got fee waivers for every school i applied to (17) except Stanford
legallydillydallying
16:55
@Sippingthestars: same. I have lsac fee waiver and even then, sls didn't waive my fee. Feb applicants in the trenches :'(
wait is May 15th their first deadline
I'm pretty sure May 1 was the original seat deposit. Those with late April As might have a slighter later deadline. My guess would be May 10
legallydillydallying
18:20
i think someone reported may 15th deadline for later admits, if I'm not mistaken
does anyone know when waitlist movement typically starts? I was thinking maybe June?
bostoncommoner
23:17
in earnest? july typically with a few randoms before then
i wonder wehn theyll look at LOCIs
prob once that deadline hit and they start reviewing waitlisted people
also do we know how many ppl applied this year

i remember some guy saying that they called stanford and the admissions office said theres just WLs and Rs left at this point, did that turn out to be true?
legallydillydallying
18:29
@AgonizingFadedDwarf: i think so, multiple people reported getting the same email and no As have been reported on LSD since
AgonizingFadedDwarf
22:47
oh it was an email, in that case its probably legit
AgonizingFadedDwarf

i thought it was a phone convo 😂
