@breytigs: gotcha, I'm not interested in living in Columbia. SLU's lack of information on graduate employment compared to Mizzou is just concerning.

I'm big law or bust, or atleast regional big law

14:48
@pwoerjowemf: If you don't mind sharing, how was your 1843 interview and how long after the interview were you awarded the scholarship?
pwoerjowemf
16:47
@WhatDo: it was chill, laid back, I enjoyed the professor I met with. It was maybe a week or two until I heard back from them.
10:21
Its more anecdotal data than hard employment data but I've talked to a couple of hiring lawyers at St. Louis law firms at least and they say they mainly hire top graduates from SLU as they see the degree as just as valuable as any other Missouri school and you're less likely to leave the area meaning they'll actually get a return on the investment of training you.
10:22
Have you checked their aba required employment disclosures? I've taken a look at them and my interpretation is that SLU has higher highs and lower lows partially due to a larger class size.
10:23
I can drop some links to those if you haven't seen them. I bet you probably have and they just didn't provide the data you wanted, but figured I'd offer!

I've looked, but just wanted to hear someone elses opinion!

Anyone going to admitted student day in february?
HighPaltryBluebird
15:51
@pwoerjowemf: Can't make it to the one in February, but I'll head over for the one in March
14:58
I'll be at the one in February!
how long did it take you guys to hear back once your application went under review?
WonderfulEnchantingBullfrog
18:35
a little over 2 weeks i believe. my status date changed twice and i heard back few days after the last status change
First A! My wife submitted all her apps in the last 2-3 weeks and SLU was first to respond... great scholly too... waiting on a few others but it's a contender for sure... we are excited

How did y’all think admitted students day went?
11:39
@TheBeefGuy: I'm waiting for the rest of my offers to come in and then I'm gonna try getting a bump to my scholly. I feel like this is the type of thing you get one shot at so you want to make it the best possible shot.

"Decision made-letter to follow" - any insight?
WonderfulEnchantingBullfrog
11:54

BullsFan1023
15:26
Noted, thank you
my status checker said congratulations but i didn't get any email, then i went on today and that has disappeared, should i be worried?
no , you were probably accepted
15:26
scholarship bumped from 111k to 120k after showing full offer to better ranked school. Like really... 9k isn't gonna move the needle my guy
if you have better offers why are you worried about slu lol
17:45
Does anyone know if SLU sends both acceptances and rejections in physical mail or just the acceptances?
What are the chances of getting of SLUs waitlist?
*off
Legallyveryconfused
11:01
