How long did it take to receive a link to the status checker from NU? I can see my app is complete in Lawhub but can’t actually sign into the school’s status checker because I don’t have an emailed link.
You should have gotten an “application received” email with status checker login within a few days. I sent mine 12/27 and got the email on 1/1

^ me too sigh
do they typically follow a day of calls with WL/R’s?
nah i agree with @oldersupersplitter
if everyone followed the HLS system i’d be like 30% happier
Is an NU LOCI necessary if no decision 3.5 months post-complete? Or should I just sit still
@YesteryearSpaceCowboy: what would you write in it? Unless you have an update i wouldn't send one

Has NU had an R wave yet this cycle?

Northwestern WL today. Fun. "We found certain aspects of your application compelling." In other words, "Man, if you didn't suck at the LSAT, you'd be in."

@WhatTheSplit: Interesting read. Doesn't look like a fun time over at NU judging from that article. Still disappointed to have been waitlisted. What I find confusing about the situation is that the article doesn't explain why, or really even speculate about why, the dean is doing these things---is micromanaging, not allowing for faculty input where she should, etc.

I mean, what's the motivation? Is it a way to mold NU into her own image so as to get as much credit for its success as a law school as possible? The more of an impact you personally have, in other words, the more the prestige of the school redounds to your actions?
