y’all get that waitlist update?
InsidiousCurvyCentipede
14:22
do you think they cut people from the waitlist
My guess would be they cut based only on the waitlist interview. Was it complete, yes or no?
I stayed on the waitlist today and never submitted WL Interview. I did the initial one though.

16:16
anyone hear anything from the waitlist yet since the form?
InsidiousCurvyCentipede
19:04
nope :(
13:57
I just sent another LOCI
InsidiousCurvyCentipede
16:23
when’d you send your last one?
17:09
Mid-June I think
17:09
Or start of July
17:10
Oh I guess it was in May
18:42
Just got a feeler - anyone else?
18:42
Lmao literally on day 1 of orientatino
I did too. not sure i can justify moving at this point since its so close to classes
@HeadyPunyFlamingo: when did you get a feeler?
12:50
A heads up to those still hoping: I received an offer and just withdrew my application, so there is probably at least one spot left
@SimonTWill: they sent you a feeler prior to offering admission correct? what was your response to the feeler if you don’t mind me asking
13:55
@InsidiousCurvyCentipede: Hey so I responded emphatically to the feeler, which came Monday evening. I got the offer Tuesday evening, and had til 12:00PM CT today to make a call (Wednesday)
@SimonTWill: It’s weird because I received that same feeler days before you but still
haven’t heard back from them since
northwestern plz let me in
welp it was a good run
23:46
am I gonna get waitlisted if I don't do optionals
16:40
someone told me applying ED at NU doesn't give you a boost in admissions. If anyone can speak to the veracity of that lmk.
payforprestige
14:15
no boost due to the scholly
Did you all write any optional essays for NW?
12:12
@BloodyTightHound: I definitely think it gave me a boost last year. See my profile.
@BloodyTightHound: you can find NU's word-for-word take on ED online. It's out there!
lawschoolbets
15:47
@GisElleWoods: can you tell me more about the ED process for NU? Can you strategically use ED like for a school where if you ED --> deferred to RD, can you then ED to a different school? Does it give a bump or not really since of the scholly for some ED programs or sticker price for others?
