Tell us what's important to you
In my email at least. So tomorrow is last day for results
(for defers/holds)

16:37
As well, but I have a worse feeling now than I did 90 minutes ago lol
The odds are never great for defers, frankly. But it's better to still be pending than to have already been Rd
Ha I got my WL
StaleHarshMayfly
16:51
Damn that sucks, expecting the same TBH
Do we think more interview invites will go out today?
wl :'(
Are all hold applicants on the preferred waitlist? I was put on preferred waitlist for PT :(
HappyPippaPuppa
20:48
WL :)
20:49
remember if you got WL, tell them you'll go no matter what (if it's true)
20:49
did wonders for me
0:31
I got preferred wl..what does that really mean? How does that vary from “hold”?
0:32
Hoping a few others will still come through so I dont have to stress about this for another 3 months.
Hold isn't a final decision (although it usually end in WL/R in most cases). WL is more final. You could be accepted or rejected off the WL in June, or you could be left hanging until the last week of August
11:46
But is there really a distinction between preferred waitlist and waitlist? Or just a softer rejection?
PaltryAveragePossum
11:55
There’s good movement off the Gtown WL every year
PaltryAveragePossum
11:55
Off of all three waitlists too.
12:12
I feel like I’m on the bubble of several programs. Everyone around my application date seems to have gotten responses already. I think I keep being tossed back and forth with several programs. Would love this one to break in my favor though.
They appear to take off all three WLs so no one really knows why they do kt
I think it's to give certain applicants who they think need it incentive to stay on the WL and not withdraw
12:13
Hmmm
12:14
The waiting game begins
StaleHarshMayfly
16:53
ED-> RD, waitlisted
I'm sorry! Weird that it was today. Which WL are you on? Just out of curiosity because all of them move
StaleHarshMayfly
17:06
Preferred
StaleHarshMayfly
17:07
And yeah it was weird they waited until today. Email came right after 4pm with an hour to spare haha

"The AdCom has reviewed your application and has placed your name on our Preferred Waiting List" Just to make sure, this isnt the special/priority waitlist correct? There is another tier above this one?
Yea that's regular special preferred. The "third tier" says "has placed your name in a special group within our Preferred Waiting List"
