@TenseParchedHyena: I don't see why not, but I'm sure you were accepted since you see the Seat deposit fee on your status checker
9:51
Also, has anyone gotten into FIU's Part time Law program? or has all acceptances been for the full time program so far?
are you guys able to share the scholarship offers?
Any conditions that came with it?
@Futurelawyer22: My friend got a full tuition scholarship & has to remain top 70% of class. Not sure how it is for anyone else.
17:21
I also got a full ride and have to remain in the top 70% of the class
17:22
Based on the data on here, it seems like most scholarships given have been conditional in some way
hey guys, how long did it take from "decision rendered" to receiving your email? I see everyone saying 1-2 days but I'm at 5 now and nothing
@anxiousyanna: top 70% of the class meaning you're competing in grades with the top 70% of the class?
sorry I'm new to hear these scholarships and not very familiar
11:24
@Futurelawyer22: to be honest, I'm not completely sure if I'm correct in the way I'm interpreting it either. I'm new to all of these terms too, but from what I understand, top 70% means you have to stay within the top 70% in the class in terms of GPA
11:24
if you go below that ranking after the first year, then you aren't eligible for the scholarship anymore
11:25
if that is wrong someone please correct me! I just know for sure that it's a very strict condition in the scholarship
i got offfer from one school which tells me top 50%
i guess 70 is better than 50% right?
15:59
@Futurelawyer22: noo i think 50% is better
15:59
may be wrong tho
top 50% is a harder scholarship to maintain. It is better to be top 50% in terms of grades, but easier to stay in the top 70%
10:52
@TenseParchedHyena: thank you for clarifying!
@TenseParchedHyena: thank you!
any acceptance this week?
13:22
@Futurelawyer22: haven't heard anything yet, fingers crossed I hear back relatively soon with an Acceptance lol!

19:22
@abolishthelsatplslolz: Expect an email soon with your decision! If the tracker shows a seat deposit, then you're in. Otherwise, it's likely a WL or R
i emailed them and got denied but best of luck to all of u guys!!!!!
