New medians are as follows. LSAT - 25th: 156, 50th: 160, 75th: 162. GPA - 25th: 3.47, 50th: 3.70, 75th: 3.88.
61% women, 52% out of state. 39.6% acceptance rate.

they seem to be REALLY trying to up their medians with all of the 15x denials
@AspiringTenuousIbis: They seem very numbers obsessed from what I experienced when I visited.
157 and 3.8 still Got WL
AspiringTenuousIbis
9:30
@ExultantWarlikeKiwi: thats wild feel like you totally should have gotten in
i withdrew bc they refused to increase my scholarship at all with 161 and 3.82 ($$) im like at least give me 75% bc ur ranking is so low
i got a full ride to a school ranked like 35 places higher than them so i dont get why they wont increease at all
AspiringTenuousIbis
9:22
I just don't understand how they are going to fill a class like most people with high stats they are accepting are going to choose higher ranked schools with more money offered
HesitantSlowWhale
11:11
when i asked ab scholly they basically told me you dont need a scholarship bc you'll be making a lot of money after school lmao
HesitantSlowWhale
11:12
and now they just sent an email saying "didn't get a scholarhsip? just take out loans!" like ok thanks lol
HesitantSlowWhale
11:14
they also told me i dont need a scholarship bc they have a high bar passage rate.... i was so confused lmaooo
AspiringTenuousIbis
14:15
lmaoooo so crazy I wonder if they have always been like this or if they are trying something new this year
AspiringTenuousIbis
14:16
@HesitantSlowWhale: did they give you any $
HesitantSlowWhale
15:59
@AspiringTenuousIbis: zero dollars
any news if today is an A day from Belmont? Got an update on status checker says email w decision sent
nothing received yet
yeah I emailed them saying I had received full rides to two higher ranked institutions and they said they'd reconsider in spring after most people accept/withdraw to an institution
HesitantSlowWhale
11:32
@GreatSelectiveDolphin: that's wild lmaoooooo
@AspiringTenuousIbis: Yep, and im a veteran so i have good softs as well. Very confusing
@HesitantSlowWhale: I like Belmont a lot too, I think they're a good school but if they're gonna hold out on me then I have 0 qualms about going somewhere else and spending much less money to get an arguably more prestigious degree.
HesitantSlowWhale
12:14
@GreatSelectiveDolphin: agreed. beautiful campus, students are cool, but i'll choose $150k less debt at a higher ranked school any day
HesitantSlowWhale
12:16
also crazy that they wouldn't let you negotiate until after seat deposit bc they make you withdraw everywhere else when you pay their seat deposit so you'd literally be stuck
If that's the case thank God I haven't enrolled anywhere yet.
HesitantSlowWhale
15:20
yeah its the fine print of their commitment agreement. a little predatory imo
hmmmm, most curious....
Well they agreed to bump me to full tuition, have not committed anywhere yet but I am likely to make a decision this next week.
got waitlisted smh
